Volunteer
We’ve worked with some fantastic volunteers over the years and are always eager to work with folks who believe in the transformational power of theatre. We look for people to volunteer in the UK, France, the US or remotely and online who can commit to at least three months and have skills relevant to our projects at hand. Please contact us and tell us how you see yourself contributing to Scheherazade in the time you have with the skills you have.

Become a Scheherazade ‘angel’
Your support will enable one woman to become a micro-entrepreneur in her community, enabling her to work with 100 people over the course of one year. This not only equips her with valuable skills but also opens the door for a minimum of 100 women and children to participate in life-changing theatre and arts-based workshops throughout the year.
Your support enables the women to undergo a comprehensive one-year training program of our methodologies, led by our facilitators. During the first six months, the focus is on developing their theatre and facilitation skills, preparing them to lead workshops. The subsequent six months delve into advanced techniques, encompassing leadership, management, fundraising and essential business skills. Upon successful completion of various milestones, the women receive a modest grant or investment to nurture their businesses.
This financial assistance is to support the development of a website, creation of marketing materials, or personal financial support to kick start their entrepreneurial journey. It's important to note that funds are only disbursed after the women have successfully completed the initial six months of training, provided a viable business plan, and demonstrated the potential for project success.
