We take great pride in assessing our IMPACT through a well-structured Assessment Framework, thoughtfully crafted to yield tangible and measurable Learning Objectives and Outcomes. By incorporating SMART principles, we ensure a consistent and effective methodology in achieving evidence-based results.

Our Assessment Framework is creatively designed to capture the progress and growth of our participants, allowing us to measure the concrete impact of our programs.  Through this approach, we can confidently demonstrate the value of our initiatives, providing clear evidence of the transformative power of our learning experiences.

We use 5 key performance indicators to measure this IMPACT aligned with our Vision and Mission.

  • GENDER EQUALITY

    Learning Objective: Participants will demonstrate an understanding of gender equality and its importance in promoting a fair and just society.

    Performance Indicator (Impact of Gender Equality): Participants should understand the negative consequences of gender inequality on individuals, communities, and society as a whole, including economic, social, and emotional impacts.

    Evidence Based Assessment:

    Classroom discussions and debates to encourage critical thinking and analysis.

    Group projects or presentations focusing on specific aspects of gender equality and potential solutions.

    Reflection journals or personal narratives on experiences related to gender equality.

    Role-playing scenarios to explore and address gender bias and discrimination.

    Surveys or interviews to assess participants' awareness and understanding of gender equality.

  • ECONOMIC ADVANCEMENT

    Learning Objective: Participants will demonstrate an understanding of economic advancement and its role in promoting individual and societal prosperity.

    Performance Indicator (Poverty and Inequality): Participants should be aware of the causes and consequences of poverty and economic inequality, as well as the potential strategies to address these issues.

    Evidence Based Assessment:

    Submission of a business plan using Business Model Canvas.

    One to one tutorial to evaluate business plan to gauge participants understanding of entrepreneurship, innovation and their ability to propose viable business strategies.

    Contribution in Masterclasses and peer to peer discussions on how education and skills development contribute to economic advancement.

    Creation of a robust marketing strategy to prove sustainability of their enterprise.

    Completion of Gnowbe modules on relevant 21st Century skills and the impacts on economic advancement.

  • HEALTH AND WELL-BEING (+ MENTAL HEALTH)

    Learning Objective: Participants will demonstrate an understanding of health and well-being and the factors that contribute to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

    Performance Indicator (Emotional Intelligence): Participants should develop emotional intelligence by identifying and managing their emotions effectively and demonstrating empathy towards others.

    Evidence Based Assessment:

    Theatre-based workshops or performance to demonstrate effective communication and emotional intelligence in different interpersonal situations.

    Creation and facilitation of workshops focusing on health promotion initiatives or strategies to address specific health concerns, including mental health.

    Reflection in participant’s journal on their experiences of exploring health and well-being topics during theatre-based workshops.

    Masterclass/Group discussions on health-related topics to evaluate understanding and critical thinking skills.

  • CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

    Learning Objective: Participants will develop an understanding of civic engagement and the importance of actively participating in and contributing to a democratic (their) society.

    Performance Indicator (Community Involvement): Participants should understand their contribution within their communities through volunteer work, service projects or participation in community organizations.

    Evidence Based Assessment:

    Community service projects to assess participants' involvement and impact on local issues, using feedback tools to show impact.

    Forum Theatre techniques incorporating audience participation to demonstrate effective civic engagement skills.

    Participation in Masterclass specific sessions aimed at learning and facilitating different methods of performance to explore themes around civic engagement.

    Video or photographic evidence of Forum Theatre performed within the community.

  • EDUCATION AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

    Learning Objective: Participants will demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth, acquiring essential knowledge, skills and attitudes to thrive academically, professionally and personally.

    Performance Indicator (Information Literacy): Participants should become proficient in information literacy, evaluating sources and using information ethically and responsibly.

    Evidence Based Assessment:

    Projects or presentations that require effective communication and creative problem-solving.

    Self-assessment and reflection exercises to evaluate personal growth and goal attainment.

    Submission of lesson plans for workshops, including peer to peer feedback for shared best practice.

    Cultural competency assessments to gauge participants understanding and appreciation of diversity.

    Case studies or real-life scenarios to evaluate participants adaptability and resilience.
